Oversees the development and implementation of the youth mentoring program, which matches adult volunteer mentors with youths one-to-one. The Mentoring Program Coordinator ensures program quality and performance related to recruiting, screening, matching, monitoring, and closing the relationship with the mentor and child, and communicates with the mentor, parent/guardian, and child throughout the relationship.
Qualification:
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Bachelor’s degree preferred with emphasis in social work, psychology, and/or education
Two or more years experience in mentoring and youth development, working within community organizations and/or schools preferred
Extremely strong organizational, writing, verbal, and interpersonal skills
Creativity and flexibility are essential in assuming significant responsibility

Full-Time Intensive In-Home Counselor
Provide intensive in-home, crisis-oriented counseling and case management to children, adolescents and their families.
Maintain a maximum caseload of six families (full time) and three (part-time).
Work intensively with clients and families a minimum of 3-5 hours per week, per family to foster development of improved coping skills, positive parent/child interactions household safety, organizational skills, appropriate discipline, problem solving and other issues related to family preservation.
Develop ISP (individualized service plans) in collaboration with referring agencies, social services agencies involved with the children/families; implement ISP and monitor progress.
Provide clinical assessments, evaluations and case management which require maintain regular consultation and multi-jurisdictional case review teams, courts, schools, social services and other community agencies.
Qualifications
Bachelors’ Degree in Human Services Field (Master’s Degree preferred) or equivalent discipline
Must have experience in conducting assessments, crisis intervention, case management and facilitating individual and group counseling.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Three or more years experience working with adolescents/familiesMust be organized, flexible and detailed oriented.
