Family Face 2 Face Services was established in 2006, in Richmond, Virginia.
Family Face 2 Face Services provides therapeutic and support services to nearly 10,000 children and parents each year. Our goal is to meet the growing needs of youth and families in Virginia. We recognize the importance of providing quality programs that allow children and adolescents to develop the skills necessary for success.
Services Include:
The Intensive In-Home Service (IIH) An alternative to foster care or psychiatric in-patient placement of children is sometimes needed to prevent children from being split from their families. Intensive intervention in the family’s home in times of crisis teaches the family how to live together safely and prevent out-of-home placement of children into foster care.
The Family Face 2 Face Services Mentoring Program (FF2FSMMP) provides mentoring opportunities for young people in Richmond, Virginia area. The curriculum of services address a wide range of needs related to ensuring successful youths, stable families, and strong communities.
We do this by: • Helping struggling families become strong, healthy, and stable • Helping sad and frightened children heal from the trauma of abuse and neglect • Helping parents become more confident and nurturing caregivers
